remember

Scrapbook share #3!

(supplies: hmmm...pretty much everything Heidi Swapp, except for the lace bow, pink flower and the digital frame on my photo downloaded from House of 3.)

Another pregnancy page. I did this journaling just 2 days before I had Kherington. Again, I was just feeling sentimental and wanted to record my feelings as my pregnancy was coming to an end. It was fun to mix and match a bunch of my Heidi Swapp stuff from my stash...you can never go wrong with this color combo!

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow!

just so you know

I told you I'd be back with some more scrap stuff, didn't I? Here's my second scrapbook share for the week:

(supplies: patterned paper, chipboard letters, journaling spots, definition sticker, star: Heidi Swapp; flower and scalloped trim: Doodlebug; other: envelope, ribbon)

I wanted to do a page for my big girls to let them know how special they are before I had the baby...this one is Payton's. I am loving using envelopes on my projects lately. It's a great way to hide journaling, and I think it will be more special as the years go by for my kids to read these private little heartfelt notes...words that are meant just for them. (I also find it easier to journal when I know no one else is reading it except for the person it's for.) And I'm loving the bright colors lately...I was wishing for spring when I did this page!

See you tomorrow!!

easter and a layout

Just wanted to quickly share a few of our (very imperfect!) Easter pictures. I was so excited to find 3 matching dresses back in January for the girls...so cute!

And I've been talking forever about how I have scrapbook stuff to share, so I thought I'd better get to it! I am totally itching to do some scrapbooking with all of my fun new pictures of K and the girls, but finding TIME is proving to be almost impossible. I think that has been my biggest adjustment with now having 3 kids...my complete lack of time to do anything. And I'm not just talking about not having time to do what I want to do...I'm talking, there's no time for anything! Eating, getting ready, cleaning, sleeping, you name it...I have no time for it. Haha!

That being said, at this exact moment, all 3 girls are either sleeping, playing or doing who-knows-what upstairs, so I thought I'd do a quick scrapbook share.

(supplies: patterned paper: Basic Grey, Heidi Swapp; chipboard #'s, alpha stamps: Heidi Swapp; notebook paper: Making Memories; swirly accent and medallion accent: downloaded from House of 3 and printed onto a transparency; other: tissue paper, jewel)

I printed off the image I had used for my blog banner before I had Kherington and used it for this layout...I can't believe I had a baby inside me and I can't believe she's almost 6 weeks old! AAaahhh!

Anyways, how about this...come back every day till Friday and I'll post a new page or project each day. This blog needs some more scrapbook stuff goin' on, don'tcha think?

See you tomorrow!!

where does the time go?

So, apparently blogging is impossible for me lately. Man. I just can't believe how quickly each and every day comes and goes, not to mention the busy Easter weekend we just had. So instead of posting just a couple pictures, I thought I'd share a whole bunch at once, 'cause who knows when I'll be back, right?

I took these photos when Kherington was only a week old. A week! She is 4 weeks now, and I know I've said it before, but time is going by too quickly. (sniff!)

And just some random shots around the house during her first month...

To say life is busy now is an understatement! These girls keep my very occupied, but I am loving it. We went to Red Deer this weekend for Easter and for my nieces baptism...it was such a fun weekend, and so great for all the cousins to play together. (We missed you Osh and Aviana!) We did a little photo shoot of all the kids, so I'm excited for new pictures...I've been playing around with them on the computer, so hopefully I will share some of those, soon, too!

We got back home on Saturday night, had church first thing Sunday morning, and when we got home the Easter Bunny had visited our house! The girls were so excited to find their baskets and search for eggs...so much fun. Now I am having to hide all the chocolate again to keep them from eating it constantly. Haha!! The weekend ended with dinner at my parents house yesterday. Lots of yummy food, which reminds me of the turkey sandwich I can make myself for lunch. Yay!

Anyways, just wanted to stop in. Have a good day!!

today

Just some pictures I took of the girls this morning...impromptu photo shoots are always the best. I managed to get everyone dressed and ready this morning so I thought I'd take a few pictures...even Gabby was willing, so I had to take advantage of the opportunity!

Looking at these photos, it's just hitting me that I have three kids...what the heck? It is still foreign for me to say "three kids". It's been almost a month since Kherington was born, and I'm still getting used to the number 3! But it has been fun. I feel like a broken record when I say this, but honestly, this past month has just been a blur...most days I don't even know what day it is...we're just goin' with the flow. It's all good.

Kherington continues to be the dream baby...she is so awesome at night. Of course she wakes up to eat but getting her back to sleep is always easy, so I'm not dealing with being up for hours and hours during the night. I'm still tired, though! I guess that will last for a while, right? Again, it's all good.

I've been taking lots of pictures that I always intend on sharing, but the days just pass me by. I'll try to share more soon...I even have some cute pages that I did before Kherington was born that I've been wanting to share...but it's getting downstairs to the computer that seems to be the challenge! Oh, well...I'll try to post all that stuff soon, kay?

I'll be back as soon as can!

heidi swapp edmonton date change

Just wanted to make sure that all of you who have signed up for Heidi's workshop on April the 28th know about the date change to May the 30th.

Due to Heidi's somewhat unexpected move back to the states, she has switched her Edmonton day of classes to Saturday, May 30th. And lunch is included in your price this time, too!

You can read all about it here!
