A little peek at Gabby's "Movie & Popcorn" birthday party....

Yes, she turned 5 back in July. But, it was summer and it's always hard to plan parties with friends when everyone's away on holidays. So we did her party and few weeks ago and it was such a hit! All of her friends came over in their jammies and we had pizza, pop, popcorn and treats! Everyone got a little purse with "money" in it and they had to line up at the concession stand to pay for their treats, tickets and popcorn. Then they went downstairs to the "movie theatre" where thet saw the debut of "Barbie and The Princess Charm School". Honestly, the girls had soooooo much fun! We'll be doing this again for sure!!
Love you Gabbs!!! xo

Oh I'm sure the girls would absolutely love buying concession treats! What a fun idea! I might have to steal that one!
That is such a good idea, so simple! I love it, I might have to steal this for Jayna next year. :) Good idea to do her party later on too, I was thinking of that this summer when Keira was born.
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing all your talent with people like me who cannot come up with ideas like this on their own! You amaze me!
All of it. Lovely. Looks like an entry on Kara's Party Ideas. Great colour. Um, how did you find time with 4 little people?
so cute. molly and harry both say they wish they were there!! and also - where did you get that blue bench that Gabs is sitting on??
Thanks everyone! I know I said it already, but it was a total hit with the kids...they loooved "buying" their treats and they were laughing like crazy when I told them their popcorn cost $3425...haha! They could come upstairs whenever they wanted to buy more treats, and I didn't have to plan any games or anything 'cause the movie kept them busy!
And Nik, I bought my bench at Home Sense here in Edmonton. :)
oh poop!me wants one.
Cute!! Looks like soooooo much fun :) Who wouldn't love that??? Heck lets plan one for us girls...candy...popcorn...movie...haha!! xox
