( a conversation with Payton on Saturday afternoon while Gabby was asleep )



Payton: "Mommy?"


Me: "Yes, sweetie?"


[she pauses from her coloring and looks up at me with her beautiful blue eyes]


Payton: "Isn't it just lovely to spend time together?"


Me: "Yes, sweetie...it sure is."






*sigh*....oh, how I love special little moments like this. Made me stop and realise how truly lucky I am to be a mama.
