colorful summer!

Wow, it's been not quite a week and I'm blogging again! Imagine that!! (wink)

I just wanted to tell everyone about the fun, Colorful Summer classroom at Big Picture Scrapbooking. It's free, so everyone's welcome to download the class. It's really fun, every teacher at BPS created a layout and audio message about their "happy" color...I chose red as it has been a fave of mine lately! I've had fun browsing through all the teachers layouts and listening to their audio's...totally inspiring. If only I had more time lately to actually scrapbook! So anyways, go and check that out if you're wanting a little "summer" inspiration!

Also, I have a layout published in the September issue of Creating Keepsakes...I haven't even had a chance to get my hands on a magazine yet, but when I was talking to the gals at my LSS they were like, "Oh, we saw your layout in CK!!" and I was like "What layout?" I actually forgot that I had a page in this issue, so that was a fun little surprise. This last few months have just been so busy, I can't keep track of anything. Anyone else with me on that??

Well, my family and I are heading down to Montana today for a much needed vacation...I am excited to get outta here and have some quality family time. An excuse to sit by the lake and do nothing and have naps and not worry about schedules and eat as much as I want and play and relax...yay! As always, we are behind's 3:20pm and we wanted to leave by 9am this morning. Oops. Ah, well...maybe it'll be just as nice to get there and put the girls straight to bed and wake up in the morning ready to play! Just gotta go with the flow!

For all of you who play along with Kim and I at the Goodie Box...I'll be posting our next challenge on Monday, August 13th. Stay tuned for that, and you won't want to miss out on this month's is AWESOME...something I am addicted to lately.

I'll be back in about a week, hope everyone is having a great summer!!

Isn't it so crazy how time flies? My little girls just turned 4 and 3! I'll look for your layout in the September issue!
