quotes i love

(I have been trying to post ALL DAY, and I've finally gotten my pictures up...aaagghh! Frustrating.)

Wow...has it really been a whole week since I last blogged??? Dude. I have to say, I'm glad that this weekend is over. I had to speak in church yesterday so I spent alot of my week last week preparing and getting my talk ready. It went well (I think!) but I always get stressed before things like that...so I am glad it is over with!

Now my girls and I are trapped in my house due to the ridiculous SNOW STORM outside!!! AAarrgggh! I am so sick of the snow and the cold and the not-being-able-to-do-anything-'cause-it's-too-dang-cold-to-leave-the-house! Seriously...I have been telling Gray on a regular basis lately that we're moving (of course we're not, but a girl can dream, right?). I just want to go on a walk and watch my kids as they play in the backyard. Is that too much to ask???

ANYWAYS...maybe you've noticed that I've added a "quotes i love" section in my sidebar to the right. I always find that I read quotes that I like, but I never keep track of them and then I can't find them when I want them...so I've decided to every now and then add a new quote and with it I'll do a little 6x6 page. Just a little something fun...a way to share and keep track of the quotes I love, and I'm using a 6x6 album that's been sitting around forever, too!

Here are my first couple pages:

I chose a 6x6 format simply 'cause I have an empty album waiting to be used, but you could use anything in any size. Maybe some of you will join in with me in creating a little "quotes" album. I'll add a new quote whenever I can...maybe once every week or so...I'm not giving myself any rules on this one!

Hope everyone's having a good Monday...pray for Sunshine for me! (wink)

Tal:)

Oh, and I also just wanted to thank everyone for the comments on my last post. I know the topic of stay-at-home-mom's can be a touchy subject sometimes...it was so nice to hear from mama's who are doing what I'm doing (and are loving it, too!). Thanks, everyone!!!

I think I'd move in a second if the family moved and some of our friends. Where should we all go? What is the perfect place on earth? I don't like it too hot so somewhere where the winters are mild and summers not too hot... Not too much rain but not too dry either... (keep dreaming, right....)

I love the quote pages you've done. Great idea. I just boringly write mine in a little note book.

Sorry I missed your talk. Sienna was sick.

Talks can be so time consuming...I always end up stressing about it all week....

Loving your quote pages...I always just do mine on playing cards, but I love the idea of doing 6x6...it's a good size!

A quote album is an awesome idea. Love it. Your pages are adorable

Oh, I can completely relate to the subject of giving talks. I spoke in our ward 2 weeks ago, then last week I was my hubby's companion speaker for high council sunday. (I gave the same talk both times - no one knew). I just didn't have time to prepare 2 separate talks in 2 weeks (plus everything else on my plate right now). I bet you did a great job! You seem to have it all together :)

Cute cute cute LO's! That's a great idea to do a quote book! Here in BC we don't have any snow, but it's still really cold, so we are pretty much stuck indoors also. I'm sure we'll see some sun soon! Fingers crossed ;).
