i about died and went to heaven

...when I saw this necklace made by my blogger-friend, Lindsey. She has fabulous style and taste, no? Anyways, I have about a bajillion things on my to-do list right now, but these took top priority yesterday! (thanks for the inspiration, Lindsey!!)

I was going to embellish some little t-shirts for my girls with these flowers, and who am I kidding, I will probably still do that, but I guess with necklaces you can wear them with anything. My fingertips are bruised from sewing these babies together, but it was so, so fun!

And while I'm sharing, you can take a look at these two simple shirts that I embellished for Kim for her birthday last week...they turned out pretty cute, I think!

And yes, I sewed these ruffles with an actual sewing machine. (gasp) I had no idea what I was doing, but I just went with it. Haha! It's been so nice to put all of my fabric scraps to good use...they are too pretty to be hidden away!

And last but not least, I made this shirt for myself back in February and never got around to posting it. I am totally addicted to making these fabric flowers taught by Rhonna in this tutorial!! I am all about the glue-gun, let me tell ya!!

So there you go. A bunch of fabric flower fun. Get that glue-gun out and get goin'.

Love it Talia! I've been looking for some different ways to make fabric flowers to spruce up some pillowcase dresses I've been making for my girls. Did you use cotton fabrics?
